Walk & Talk
A gentle stroll, a breath of fresh air, and good company.

At Skelmersdale Boundary Harriers, community and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. On the first Wednesday of every month, we host our monthly Walk & Talk event—a completely free, relaxed space to move more, chat, and support each other.
You do not need to be a runner, and you do not need to be a club member. This is open to the entire public, and four-legged friends are very welcome to tag along too!

Why Join Us?
-
Zero Pressure: No pacing requirements, no expectations, and absolutely no running involved.
-
Dog & Family Friendly: Dogs (on leads) and accompanied children are very welcome! We just ask that younger walkers can comfortably manage roughly 5km within about an hour at a steady walking pace.
-
Great Company: Come down for a catch-up with friendly faces, or simply enjoy a quiet walk alongside others. Look out for our mental health champions.
-
Be Prepared: During the darker autumn and winter months, please remember to bring a torch or headtorch so we all stay safe and well-lit on the route!
There is no need to book or sign up—just show up on the night with a pair of comfortable shoes (and a lead if you are bringing your dog)!
