Supporting Our Community

Thanks to your entries and support, all event proceeds go directly toward the maintenance and preservation of the Mawdesley Millennium Green (Reg. Charity No. 1075755).

We’re incredibly grateful to The Red Lion for hosting race HQ, to our tireless volunteer crew for keeping everyone safe, and to all 122 runners who made the event such a success.

Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you all back on the trails in 2027!

Skelmersdale Boundary Harriers are proud to support, co-organise, volunteer, and race in the 2026 Mawdesley Trail 10k! This fantastic local event takes runners on a 6.2-mile multi-terrain journey through the countryside around Mawdesley—a great off-road challenge whether you are aiming for a PB or just stepping into trail running. Best of all, all proceeds go toward supporting the Mawdesley Millennium Green local charity (Reg. Charity No. 1075755). Whether you are signing up to run, cheering from the sidelines, or joining our SBH volunteer crew on the day, we would love to have you involved!
